Filmed in location in Goma and Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. This documentary tells, through the United Nations’ efforts, the story of the violent path that DR Congo walked towards its first democratic elections in 2006, and the high hopes of peace that sprouted from that destruction.

It contains rare and mostly unseen footage of Joseph Kabila’s and Jean Pierre Bemba’s armies shooting bullets and riding tanks in the streets of Kinshasa during the events of March of 2007.
